World of

Name: Sito Naera
Terran Age: 23
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 125 lbs
Species: Bajoran

Background:
She was born in a remote village on Bajor to Melora and Baran, her proud parents.
Sito's father fought (and died) during the war with Cardassia, but managed to provide an escape from the Bajoran system for his wife and young child.
They eventually arrived on earth, where Naera began her education in earnest.
She proved to be a very intelligent individual, although she had to work hard to achieve the required grades to apply to Starfleet.
Her first attempt to join was unsuccessful, but she succeed on her second attempt, at the age of 19.

Appearance:
Naera is a tanned, well proportioned woman. She does not consider herself as attractive, but the angular features of her face does have an air  of understated beauty about it.
Her eyes are a bright green in their hue and her long dark hair falls about her shoulders, reaching the down to the bottom tips of her shoulderblades.

Languages Spoken:
1) Bajoran  2) Federation Standard  3) Klingon

Personality profile:
Naera is a quiet, softly spoken entity. She is polite and friendly to all that approach her, but she is a little shy so it gives people that do not know her the impression that she is being stand-offish.

The she is quick and efficient at her job, and she only gives her opinions on matters when asked for it, by her superior officers.

Away from work, she spends most of her free time either  in her quarters, contemplating and reading or running through hand to hand combat simulations on the holodeck. This is the place where Naera almost unknowingly  displays the Bajoran fighting spirit that was forced into her people, during the Cardassian occupation...Showing a completely different side to her deeply spiritual and serene personality. Within this artificial realm (and when faced with adversity of a violent nature in her 'real life') she is a focused and fierce warrior.
When on duty, she plaits her hair into a ponytail, so it does not impede her in her work.
Although she is proud of her race, she follows Star Fleet guidelines and does not wear her family crest (earring) while she goes about her duties...Unless she is cleared to do so, of course.
